Kadmat : Kadmat is 8 km long
and only 550 metres wide at its broadest point.
It has a beautiful shallow lagoon to the west,
which is ideal for water sports, and a narrow
lagoon on the east. The long sandy beaches and
sand banks on the southern tip are perfect for
sun bathing. Travellers huts built amidst palm
groves facing the lagoon, allow you to soak in
the pristine beauty of the coral ecosystem. Kayaks,
sailing boats, pedal boats, skiing boats and glass-bottomed
boats are available on hire. A Water Sports Institute
functions on the island. Kadmat is one of the
most beautiful diving locations in India. Clear
water with 20-50-meter visibility and a variety
of fishes like rays and sharks makes it a memorable
destination for scuba divers.
Bangaram : Bangaram Island near Kavaratti
and Agatti is known for its beautiful beach and
for the bioluminescent plankton that are deposited
on the beach at high tide which make the beach
glow with a blue light at night. Bangaram is alo
known for birds and as an exclusive destination
for luxury travelers.
